JB Institute of Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma after 10th standard in any stream of Engineering and Technology. or Candidate must have passed B.Sc. with PCM from a recognized college/ university. |
| B.Sc. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 Science stream students (Mandatory Subjects) who have passed their board examination from a recognized board are eligible to pursue this course. |
| BBA | The candidates seeking admission to the BBA Degree course must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Admission through counseling will be offered first to GATE qualified candidates, and if seats remain vacant candidates qualifying the entrance examination of the University UKSEE 2022 (In order of merit) will be offered. |
| B.Pharma | Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology and obtained the above mentioned marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. |
| UG Diploma | Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with Physics , Chemistry & Mathematics from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply. Or Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with Professional, vocational or Technical Subjects from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply. Or Candidate passed 2 years ITI from any recognized institute are eligible to apply. |
| After 10th Diploma | Candidate passed 10th class/equivalent with atleast 35% marks from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply. |
| D.Pharma | Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with Physics , Chemistry & Biology / Mathematics subjects from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply. |
