The syllabus of the JMI Entrance Exam varies according to the course. Candidates appearing for the entrance exam have to follow the steps given below in order to view the syllabus for their respective programmes
1 Visit the official website of JMI examination (jmicoe. In)
2 Click on the Entrance Test Syllabus given on the admission tab
3 Select the Course Type, Course Name and enter the captcha.
4 Download the PDF file.

Yes, candidates can submit their objections against the JMI answer key within 48 hours after the same is published through electronic means. Candidates are required to pay INR 500 per programme to challenge the answer key. No grievance is entertained by the university without the payment of fee. The examination authority also do not entertain any requests submitted after the expiry of the time frame. Hence, candidates should raise their objections within the stipulated time.

The entrance test for admission to the courses offered at AJK Mass Communication Research Center consists of two sections- A and B. Section A is based on Objective or MCQs, while Section B is based on Subjective, Descriptive or Theory questions. The time allotted for both the sections is 3 hours. Section A carries 20 marks, while 120 marks are allotted for section B. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the Objective Type or Multiple Choice questions in all programs of the University.

The admit card for various undergraduate and Diploma courses is released on the exam portal of Jamia Millia Islamia. Candidates can download the JMI admit card by following the below-mentioned steps:
1 Visit the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia University or the JMI application portal
2 Click on Sign In tab.
3 Enter the login ID/email ID and password to log in.
4 Once the candidate has entered the details, a link will be available Download Admit Card.
5 Check all the details and download the document.

Candidates have to apply online to appear in JMI Entrance Exam. The application forms are released on the official website of JMI. Firstly, candidates have to create an account by filling their basic details and then fill the detailed application form, select their course, upload required documents and pay the application fee. The registration window usually remains open for a month. This year, the registrations were conducted in March and ended in April.
