The entrance exam for JSS Medical College is NEET for the MBBS course and COMEDK PGET for the PG courses. NEET is conducted by the National Testing Agency and COMEDK PGET is conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka.

The eligibility criteria to join JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research is students must have to score 50% above in the previous course and fill the online application form available. Students must submit their certificates to university for completing the application and after verification, they will get the admission.
MBA/ PGDM course fee is 1.2 lpa- 3.6 lpa
Bsc- 45 k - 4.9 Lpa
Msc- 87.1 k- 4.3 Lpa.

JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research have students who got above 75% in Karnataka board exams, almost all are merit students.
Faculty in JSS academy makes students practically trained to fit for the best jobs. Actually placements are depends on the subject you have taken. Above 75% students got placed in their respective field.

The fee structure (in INR) for the various courses offered by JSS Medical College for the academic year 2023-2024 is as follows:
- MBBS: The fee for the MBBS programme is 18.5 Lacs for the 1st year.
- MD: The fee for the MD programme is 16.13 Lacs for the 1st year.
- B.Sc: The fee for the B.Sc programme is 94,300 for the 1st year.
- PG Diploma: The fee for the PG Diploma programme is 12.63 Lacs for the 1st year.
