In 2017, the cutoff mark for a Bachelor of Science (BSc) programme at JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science (JSSCACS) in Mysore was 60%. The entrance exam for JSS Medical College is NEET for the MBBS course and COMEDK PGET for the PG courses. NEET is conducted by the National Testing Agency and COMEDK PGET is conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka.

The eligibility criteria to join JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research is students must have to score 50% above in the previous course and fill the online application form available. Students must submit their certificates to university for completing the application and after verification, they will get the admission.

Psychology
A minimum of 55% in an MA/M.Sc. in Psychology from a UGC-recognized university. A special paper in clinical psychology is preferred.
Mathematics
