There isn't any seperate cutoff details for K J Somaiya College of Science and Commerce admission.The B, Sc admission is based on merit obtained in the qualifying exam such as 10th and +2 exam marks.KJSSC considers your performance in the 10+2 Science stream for B.Sc. admissions.

Minimum eligibility for B.Sc. is 50% marks in 10+2 Science Stream with Mathematics, Statistics, and English as primary subjects.Since for 2024 admission official admission process not yet released so, its better to reach out college office for accurate information.Any keeping good scores in higher school exams such as 10th and +2 will help you to get admission

K J Somaiya College of Science and Commerce (KJSCC) have its own good and bad. KJSCC has a good reputation for academics with well-qualified faculty and a focus on student mentoring. The college is also well known for its well-maintained infrastructure, including good laboratories for science programs. KJSCC goes beyond academics and offers opportunities for extracurricular activities, sports, and personality development.

While in placement part, KJSCC seems to have decent placements for B.Sc. graduates with some students getting placed in reputed companies.they too have good instructure K J somaiya college is good option for B.sc.

To get admission in KJ Somaiya Science and Commerce BSc cousse candidates must follow the admission guidrlines laid down by the college admission body. BSc admission is subject to a valid score in last qualifying exam along with the fulfillment of the minimum eligibility criteria set by the college. 

Eligibility: Must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Std. XII) in Science stream with Mathematics, Statistics, and English as main subjects of study from a recognised board.

Yes, it can be conisdered a bit tactical to to get into K J Somaiya College of Science and Commerce. 
The college considers past academics, extra-curricular activities, and past academics for shortlisting candidates. For the 2024 MBA admission, the college is based on CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NMAT scores. The CAT cutoff is 83 percentile, XAT cutoff is 70 percentile, NMAT cutoff is 222, CMAT cutoff is 98 percentile, and GMAT cutoff is 500.

Both college have various streams and every stream has particular fees demanded by the colleges: 

Let's do a small comparison

KJ Somiya College-

BSC- INR 34,000

B Com -INR 38,000

M Sc -INR 46,000

SIES College -

BSc -INR 32,000

Bcom-INR 34,000

Msc -INR 39,000 

As per the above comparison, it seems like the SIES college has lower fees demanded by the college.

So, the answer is yes KJ SOMIYA COLLEGE is more expensive than SIES COLLEGE.
