As per the official website of Kaziranga University, it accepts the exam scores of national-level entrance exam, such as JEE and State CEE. The university also takes admission through the Kaziranga University Entrance and Scholarship Test (KUEST). However, having a JEE score is not mandatory for BTech admission at the university as it is not the only accepted exam.

The exact admission dates for admission to the BTech programme of Kaziranga University are not released yet. Aspirants are required to pass Class 12 with relevant Science subjects and a minimum required score to be eligible for admission. Hence, it can be said that aspirants must apply soon after their Class 12 results are released to avoid missing the deadline. Depedning on their chosen specialisations, they may be required to apply for JEE/Assam CEE/KUEST. Hence, they must acquaint themselves with important dates related to these exams. The KUEST is conducted by the university in May/June (tentatively) every year.
