To be considered for the KEAM 2026 engineering rank list, candidates need to score at least a minimum normalised score of 10 in the KEAM 2026 Engineering Entrance Examination.

In the KEAM exam, "challenging the keys" is a process that allows students to raise concerns or suggest changes to the temporary answer key that is shared by the authorities in charge of the exam. This means that if candidates believe there are mistakes or issues in the answer key, they can let the exam officials know before the final version of the answer key is released. This gives everyone a chance to ensure that the answers are correct and the result is calculated based on correct answers only.

CEE has officially stated that candidates who miss the KEAM entrance exam will not be given another chance, as no re-examination will be conducted for absentees.

CEE has relesaed KEAM 2025 answer keys on April 29 at cee.kerala.gov.in. candidates can download the KEAM 2025 answer key PDFs for all days and shifts.

The KEAM 2025 results, including normalized scores, are expected to be released on or before May 10, 2025. ACE College of Engineering, which accepts KEAM scores for admissions, will likely use these scores for its B.E. / B.Tech course admissions. The KEAM rank list, which combines KEAM scores and Class 12 marks, is expected to be released on or before June 10, 2025.

The KEAM cutoff ranks for Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) vary by course and the admission round. For example, Computer Science and Engineering typically has a cutoff rank around 50,000, while Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering tend to have cutoff ranks in the higher 50,000s. Civil and Electrical Engineering courses also have their specific cutoff ranks, usually ranging between 30,000 and 60,000. These cutoffs change each year based on the number of applicants and seat availability.

The KEAM cut-off for ACE College of Engineering varies from branch to branch and category to category and is generally from 30,000 to 50,000 ranks for general category students. Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, etc. usually have lower cutoffs (close to 25,000-35,000), while the cutoffs for branches like Civil or Mechanical stretch up to 45,000-50,000.

There are higher cutoff ranks for reserved categories SC/ST/OBC; thus, the admissions are somewhat easier for deserving applicants. The cutoffs depend on a number of factors, including exam difficulty, number of applicants, and seat availability. 

The KEAM Admission Process for B.E./B.Tech courses at ACE College of Engineering would be as per the schedule announced by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. For 2025, applications would start opening, most likely in March or April, with online submission closing by late April or early May.

Usually, the entrance exam is done in June, with results declared by late June or early July. The counseling and seat allotment activity runs from July to August in several rounds, based on an individual's rank and the availability of seats. Document verification and final admissions happen by August.
