No. Apart from KEAM exam, scores of no other entrance exam are accepted for engineering admission in Kerala. All the participating colleges of KEAM for BTech admision will consider the KEAM rank for engineerig admisison. An equal weightage of 50:50 shall be given to the normalised score obtained in the KEAM Engineering exam and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination (plus two) for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure.

KEAM CBT is much more efficient as compared to the offline exam. The post-examination process takes less time like answer key release and result declaration. Until last year over three to four weeks were required to scan the OMR sheets. Now, asfter KEAM computer-based, evaluation becomes faster with the scores being made available to the candidates in the shortest time.

In 2024, KEAM transitioned form a pen and paper based test to a computer based test. The exam started to be conducted in phases, as it would not be possible to arrange over 1.2 lakh computer terminals at the same time. Since the exam is now held in shifts, normalisation of scores for engineering and pharmacy exams has been introduced. Alo the syllabus of the KEAM exam has been changed in 2024. The new revised syllabus must be downloaded from the KEAM official website and used for the exam preparation.

The refund policy usually varies according to the rules established by the KEAM authorities and the particular institution if you have paid the seat acceptance fee for KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) but did not proceed with admission. Since the seat acceptance fee is intended to reserve your spot in the counselling process, it is typically non-refundable. However, based on the specifics and the withdrawal date, there may be certain exclusions. You should speak with the KEAM office or the relevant institution's admission authorities directly to request a refund and to explain your circumstances. They will tell you what h
