KEAM 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Keralites:
Candidates will have to produce any of the following documents in order to prove that he/she is an Indian citizen of Kerala origin along with the printout of the application form:
The actual copy of the relevant page of Secondary School Leaving Certificate of the candidate showing the birth place in Kerala.
Or,
The actual copy of the relevant page of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate of either of the parents of the candidate showing birth place in Kerala with a corroborative certificate to establish the relationship between the parent and the candidate.
Or,
The actual copy of the relevant page of the Passport of the candidate, issued by Government of India, showing birth place in Kerala or of either of the parents of the candidate showing birth place in Kerala with a corroborative certificate to establish the relationship between the parent and the candidate.Or,
Birth certificate from the authority competent to register birth (Panchayat/ Municipality/ Corporation) showing the candidates or either of the parents' (in which case corroborative certificate to establish the relationship between the parent and the candidate is necessary) birthplace in Kerala, to be issued by a competent registering authority.
Or,
Certificate from the Village Officer/ Tahsildar to show that the candidate or his/ her father/ mother was born in Kerala. This document has to be in the prescribed format along with the printout of the application.
Or,
Certificate from the competent authority showing that the candidate's parent is an All India Service officer allotted to Kerala cadre.
