CUSAT admissions are conducted on the basis of both merit and entrance exams. The university accepts several national-level entrance exams for admissions such as GATE,  CAT, KMAT, and others. It also conducts in-house entrance exam like CUSAT CAT or Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test for admission to some of its courses.

CUSAT Kochi offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at CUSAT Kochi, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must be Class 12 passed of the state of Kerala or any other examination accepted as equivalent there to with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects with at least 50% marks separately and 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SEBC candidates of Kerala).

Yes, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi campus is safe for girls and boys. The college campus is located in Kochi. It has a good connection with roads and public transports. CCTV cameras are installed in the campus to keep a check on students safety.

Yes, the University of Calicut does follow the reservation policies set by the government for the MBA program, which is as follows:

  • Open Merit: 60%
  • SEBC/OBC (Total 30%)
  • SC/ST (Total 10%): Scheduled Caste (8%) and Scheduled Tribe (2%).
  • EWS: 10% additional seats for Economically Weaker Sections in non-minority institutions.
  • PwD: 5% horizontal reservation within the sanctioned strength
