Admission to KIT College of Engineering is entrance-based. Candidates must meet the basic eligibility requirements of the programmes, i.e., passing Class 12 at the time of admission. However, this is not enough to secure a seat to any of the UG or PG programme at KIT College of Engineering. Moreover, candidaets must also appear and qualify for respective state/ national-level entrance exams to secure admission.

No, MHT CET is not the only entrance exam accepted for BTech at KIT College of Engineering. Eligible candidates can appear and qualify for JEE Main entrance exam. All the JEE Main qualifiers will be exempted from appearing in MHT CET. Moreover, such candidates can register for CET Counselling process for the final seat allotment directly.

No, direct admission is not valid for M.Tech at KIT College of Engineering. Candidates need to appear and qualify for GATE entrance exam in order to secure a seat to the programme. They also need to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements of the programme, i.e., Pass graduation in Engineering/Technology (4 years after Class 12 or 3 years after BSc/ Diploma in Engineering/Technology).
