Private colleges conducts their own entrance exams for admission and scholarship purpose. Hence it is better to participate in their entrance exams for availing the scholarship benefits. The top ranks holders of JEE Main and toppers of 10+2 exams are also eligible for getting the benefits of scholarship if they opted for admission there. The rank you obtained in JEE Main is not enough for getting admission in top private Universities. However you can get admission in low graded engineering colleges. Top Universities like Amity, LPU, Chandigarh University, SRM, VIT etc. Conducts their own entrance exams.
