Yes, it is commonly accepted that Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College is considerably less affordable than KJ Somaiya Medical College.
The annual tuition costs at KJ Somaiya Medical College are approximately 18–20 Lacs per year (subject to change).
Extra costs: The cost of the mess, hostel fees, and other incidentals can mount up.

This college offers excellent instruction, and internships are not overly demanding. In college, a lot of students acquire internships. In 2022, 100 people are accepted. Two seats each in MD paediatrics and MD gynaecologist. There are DNB courses available in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, psychiatry, surgery, and medicine. The hostel has access to Wi-Fi. Mess is fantastic. It is a mediocre library. Only PGs have access to AC amenities. This is a pay-per-use facility with a cricket ground and a football pitch. KJ Somaiya Medical College is better than Dr D Y Patil Medical College as this is one of the oldest university which was established in the year 1991. They both provide degree courses but the rating of KJ Somaiya Medical College is 4.0 as caompared to Dr D Y Patil Medical College which is 3.8. The median salary offered by the primary college is also upto 15 lakhs and in Dr D Y Patil Medical College its 12.25 crores. whwereas the tuition fee in Dr D Y Patil Medical College is much higher as we see KJ Somaiya Medical College.

K. J. Somaiya Medical College have MBBS coursework and is the best course of this college. The college stresses internships as a way to equip students with the skills they need for a postgraduate or general practitioner employment, as opposed to traditional placements. Overall, KJ Somaiya Medical College is a very good College and should be amongst the top choices of a student .A good bet for an average scorer. While placement are one of the strong plus points of this College, average infrastructure and the faculty has very supportive and highly educated. The Classroom are well - maintained. The College are well built. The library is huge . Wi - fi is available 24 ×7 . Mess is really good, these are the people's opinion on KJ SOMAIYA MEDICAL COLLEGE for MBBS.

There are scholarships for MBBS at KJ Somaiya Medical College for those who belong to specific caste categories and also on the basis of NEET UG scores. If u have to apply for scholarship programme in MBBS at KJ Somaiya Medical College then u can avail it . 10 % of the tution fee will be off on the basis of specific caste category and NEET UG scores.

MD placements at KJ SOMAIYA Medical College is very good which is 100 percent. It is because only 4 seats ae available in MD. So faculty members can guide personally each student and always support .This college is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI) and is also affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. This college is good for placements as well as it has MCI accrediation.
