Last year 66 companies placed 92.1% of the batch. The top 10 Recruiters were: American Express, Ernst & Young, Hyundai, KPMG, Hettich, Nestle, Berger, MRF, HDFC, Blackstone. The highest package was INR 21.66 lacs (KPMG Crimsonwing- Malta), the highest package was offered Rs. 10.05 Lacs p. a. & the average remuneration of top quartile (25%) was 8.26 lacs.

If you are a decent student academically Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology has a lot to offer. Just go for it don't think how are the placements because their job is only up to bringing companies to college. What really matters is your skills.
So, if you really want to study and want to make your future bright. You can opt for Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology for sure.

Placement at LM Thapar School of Management is really good. I must say that Thapar School of Management is an educational Institution which always looks after the benefits and betterment of their students. They follow a lateral hiring process which provides recruiters and students ample time to find their best fit. It has 50+ recruiters and last year the highest salary package went around 25.63 lacs. One of my friends is also pursuing MBA from LMTSM and he's doing well there and always received a good feedback about the college from him. The college is really worth spending time and money. You should go for it without thinking twice.
