The TNEA 2025 rank list for admission to colleges including Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology (LJCET) will be released on June 27, 2025. Counselling will begin in July 2025. No, Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology (LJCET) does not offer direct admission. Admissions are primarily based on entrance exams like MAT (Management Aptitude Test) or WB-JEMAT (West Bengal Joint Engineering and Management Aptitude Test). Additionally, admissions for B.E./B.Tech programs may be based on TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Engineering Entrance Test) or GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

While Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology (LJCET) does not offer 100% scholarships, the PSN Educational and Charitable Trust does provide scholarships for meritorious and economically weak students. These scholarships are not necessarily full tuition waivers, but can provide financial assistance to eligible students.

At Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology, students are eligible for campus placements for UG in 7th semester, for PG in 4th semester, for MBA in 4th semester, for MCA in 5th semester. The highest package is INR 300000 per annum. 65% of students got placement.

Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology (LJCET) has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
MBA/PGDMCandidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible.
AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field.
MCACandidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible.
AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field.
M.E./M.TechCandidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible.
AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field.
