The department has Highly experienced faculty mostly with industry exposure engaged in consultancy and research to add immense value to the academic life. We have faculty from IIT, NID, CEPT, NIFT etc. The highlights of the course are Extensive Furniture Design (carpentry and metal workshop) in which student gets the opportunity to make full scale furniture pieces with understanding of various joints, working and handling materials and evaluating the strength.
