MA in Economics is not a waste of time. It opens door for you in Government and Private sector in the field of economics , trade, financial Institutions, research analysts, education etc. You can do PhD to become a super sprcialist. You are advised to take this career option if you are passionate about subject.

Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, JNU Delhi, DSE Delhi & UPES Dehradun are best colleges for MA Economics. Among these DSE & UPES are best bet but these takes admission through entrance exams. DSE Entrance is already over but you can apply for UPES. Last date to apply for UPES MA entrance is today I.e 1st June. You can register online on website.

Hi Manik,
Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.

Hi Deepali,
Admission to LSE is extremely competitive. Entry requirements as per LSE website include a minimum of 70% in your bachelor degree or a CGPA of least 3.5 (out of 4) or above. Additionally you must take the IELTS or TOEFL. There is no GRE score requirement. The admission process is online. For better understanding please go through
