For Magadh University UG admission, the minimum eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ ST candidates). The university accepts students on a merit basis for its UG courses, hence, Class 12 marks are certainly enough for admission into the university. For PG admission, the minimum eligibility requirement is to have a graduation degree from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%. MBA is one of the top courses of College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Magadh University. Students pursuing MBA from the college are open to placements. As per the NIRF report 2023, the median package of INR 3 LPA was offered to PG (2-year) students. A total of 197 students were placed from PG two-year courses.

College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Magadh University admissions to most of the UG and PG programmes is based on entrance-exam conducted by the college. For some of the UG and Diploma courses, the selection is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants who meet both eligibility and selection criteria can join the college by paying the course fee.
