MIT ADT University Pune releases application from December onwards. The last date to apply is in the month of July. Candidates can apply for the course through the official university's website. For admission, candidates are required to have Bachelor's degree in Architecture / Planning / Civil Engineering / Technology OR a Master's Degree in allied Fields of Geography or Sociology, or Economics with a minimum 55 % aggregate.

The course is offered for a full-time mode in a postgrduate-level lasting for two years. Admission to the MPlan course is entrance-based. MIT ADT University Pune considers scores of national-level exams for MPlan admission. Further, candidates who don't have any state-level scores will be admitted through PERA-CET, which will be conducted at the University.
