All the courses offered by CIPET-Ahmedabad are good and best in India. If you want to pursue manufacturing engineering specifically I suggest taking a look at your available options first because CIPET is mainly for plastic industry, if that is where you want to go then it would be a good option.

Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Systems Engineering are closely related disciplines. Production and Industrial Engineering are pretty much the same disciplines. You are eligible for the NET exam for teaching assistant professorship but the minimum eligible criteria is to score atleast 55% in you MBA course.

I don't want you to lose hope but it can be difficult for you to get there. But you can try your best. You might get that in the last round of the counselling or if there are some vacant seats after the last round of the counselling.

Certainly not. You need to check the entire syllabus of your stream related to GATE. Aptitude is a small portion of GATE Syllabus which consist of 7 to 15 marks in the exam. In order to get good rank you need to cover the syllabus and practice ample amount of problems. Completing only few topics won't help you in clearing the cut-off of PSUs and IITs.
