Of course, there are more than 500 BA in Mass Communication colleges in India and many among them offer admissions on the merit system. However, you'll still need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for the college. Some popular colleges that offer admission without entrance include St. Joseph's University, Amity University, MCNUJC Bhopal, Christ University, and IMS Noida.

Unfortunately, there's no provision of lateral entry for BA in Mass Communication course admission. You'll have to get admission in the very first year and complete all the 3 years of the program. Though you can get admission to Master's courses in the Mass Communication & Media programs.

Yes, in all the government-recognized universities, the reservation or quota systems are generally applied to BA in Mass Communication courses. A specific % of seats to students belonging to categories like Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), etc., have been allocated.

Following the government's reservation policy, it generally allocates 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 27% for OBC categories. Though it can change depending on the specific college.
