LPU is the right option to pursue B.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) and the duration of programme is 3 years. (6 Semesters). Jamia Millia Islamia offers Master of Fine Arts in various disciplines such as Painting, Sculpture, Applied Arts, Art Education, Graphic Art, Print Making and Art History and Art Appreciation. The eligibility criteria are different for all the specialisations. For admission to MFA Painting, Sculpture and Applied Arts, candidates must have a BFA degree in the same subject with at least 60 per cent marks from a recognised university. For pursuing MFA in Art Education, Graphic Arts, Print Making, candidates must have BFA degree with 60 per cent marks and for MFA Art History and Art Appreciation candidates must have BFA or B.A. (Hons) in Humanities with at least 60% marks. The admission process for MFA is conducted online. Candidates are required to fill the application form, qualify the JMI Entrance Exam and appear for counselling (if selected).

The criteria for the Jamia Millia Islamia basketball sports quota are as follows:
1. You must have competed for your country, region, state, or international basketball team.
2. If you have played basketball at the university level, then the tournaments must be organized by the Association of Indian Universities.
3. You need to download the application form attached with the admission notice.
4. You have to fill out this form and submit it with a demand draft of Rs. 100 at the university.
5. A trial slip will be given to you, which you must bring to the sport trial. According to your performance, the committee will prepare a merit list of qualified students. (b) Delhi University's requirements for admission under the sports quota are as follows:
1. If you played basketball for India in certain competitions, you can get direct admission without a sports trial.
2. These games are the Asian Games, Asian Championships, South Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cup, Olympic Games, and Paralympic Games.
3. If not, you must participate in sports trials in order to be admitted.
4. You will have to register on the official website of DU.
5. You need to upload your sport Certificate along with the application form.
6. A maximum of 40 marks will be taken into account for the sport Certificate. You must receive at least 30 out of the 60 marks in the sports trials in order to qualify for admission to DU under the sports quota.
