Candidates applying for ACJ entrance exam for admission to PG Diploma in Journalism and PG Diploma in Business and Financial Journalism can pay the application fee in any of the two modes:

  • Online Transfer via online payment gateway (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking)
  • Offline Transfer via Demand Draft in favour of “Media Development Foundation”, payable at Chennai

Candidates sending fee via DD must ensure that their full names, email IDs, and mobile numbers are mentioned.

No, the ACJ entrance exam registration for academic year 2026-2027 is not yet open. Once released, candidates can fill out and submit ACJ online form on official website.

No, the Asian College of Journalism will declare the exam schedule. All the candidates must appear for the exam as per the schedule. No request regarding change in the schedule of examination will be entertained.

The ACJ exam pattern for PG Diploma in Journalism Course is given here.

  • Sections: English Language and General Knowledge (including Current Affairs).
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Slots: Two (Morning and Afternoon)
  • Mode of examination: Online
  • Both sections will be for 100 marks each.
  • Exam Duration: 2 hours (Section I) and 90 minutes (Section II)

The ACJ question paper has two sections.

  • Section I: English Language
  • Section II: General Knowledge

Candidates will get 2 hours to complete Section I and 1.5 hours to complete Section II.

The Asian College of Journalism will not deduct marks if a student does not attempt a question. So, students can skip a question if they are not sure of the answer.

The total marks for ACJ entrance exam is 200 (100 marks each for Section I and II).

The ACJ entrance exam is conducted for admission to PG Diploma in Journalism and PG Diploma in Business and Financial Journalism in online mode only. It means tha candidates who have applied for the ACJ exam can appear for the test from any place, as long as they have access to computer or laptop with internet facility.

The Asian College of Journalism will inform the candidates who qualify the ACJ entrance exam round I (online test) via their registered email ID. The qualified candidates will be considered eligible for the secodn round, i.e., Personal Interview. The final result for selection of admission to the Asian College of Journalism will also be intimated at the registered email address.
