Mass communication is a stream which needs an enterprising college Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent is the eligibility.
It needs to pursued from a college which would give you good academics.
If a college has to be chosen for education it is good that today the student is quite aware of the need of education and the related schemes and wants to know the academic facilities of obtaining good education. A student should take education where the academic excellence can be sure like good faculty which is necessary. This should be added with good library, infrastructure, extra curricular activities. The institution should give a wide platform and exposure so as to grow in the academic field. Financial assistance in the form of scholarships also is given to the students.Then he should be prepared for placements by special training too. I know of Lovely Professional University which gives special training to its candidates for placements and has good placements.

I don't really know about other colleges but there is PCTE Group of Institutes in Ludhiana which is offering B.A. In Journalism and the college is really good. I in fact have studied from there and would assure you that you would learn a lot of things when you get enrolled in the course be it in print or electronic media. PCTE, however is ranked the 2nd &10th in the country (Iims included) on the Return on Investment parameter by OUTLOOK Magazine. The same survey ranked us 25th on the parameter of Personality Development. To add on, the college is known for providing practical knowledge to its students where you guys would be working on drones, gimble, and other sophisticated gadgets. Also, you would be engaged to work in a sound proof studio where mixing and editing computers, software and equipment are used by the students. And believe me once you graduate that would help you a lot. Having said that the college would also help you to develop your personality you would have n number of activities that you could enrol yourself in be it literary, creative, stage events and many more. Once you complete your graduation the college also provides placement opportunities so you don't really have to look for a job. You can checkout the college once, its really good saying out of my personal experience.
