Yes. Alcohol is strictly prohibited on campus as well as in the residential halls, irrespective of the age of the student. The university also forbids smoking. Violation of these rules may result in immediate exit from the building and cancellation of the accommodation agreement.

Yes, Fitchburg State gives scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate students. For undergraduate students, merit scholarships are offered and no separate application has to be submitted. In other words, the applicants are automatically considered for the merit scholarships.
- One of the merit-based scholarships for UG students is Fitchburg Freshmen Scholarship. The amount of this scholarship is USD 10,000 annually for up to 4 years. Renewal of the scholarship depends on the achievement of 3.0 GPA of 3 contiguous years.

Whether Harvard University is "better" than Boston University (BU) is determined by a variety of factors, including individual preferences of the student.
Harvard is widely regarded as one of the world's most prominent universities, BU is likewise a highly rated university, however Harvard's reputation usually outperforms that of BU.
