It depends on the institute you want to study in. For example, in IES, the average package is 6 LPA, whereas, in TIMSR, it is 4 LPA. So, you should excel in your entrance test in such manner that you get admission in the best college where there are maximum returns. Also, it depends on your skills, knowledge, etc., so that you grab the best opportunity from the companies that visit your institute.
Thank you.

Hi, You haven't mentioned in which exam you scored 84.7 percentile. I am assuming its CAT score therefore you can refer the link below for colleges accepting your score:nhttps://www.shiksha.com/mba/colleges/mba-in-finance-colleges-india? It is very difficult to get a college with 20-40 percentile. You can get a Tier 3 college. I would suggest that you take the exam next year again and try to score better as it's not worth spending your money and 2 years of time in a college that is not going to give you enough returns.
Thank you.

Yes, IMT Nagpur recognizes CMAT score. Both the courses are equally good. Depending on your educational background and interests the specialization choice will differ. In PGDM Finance, you will have Finance as your major subject but in case of core PGDM, you will have the option to opt for other subjects as well.

Depends on your subject preference and also in what field you have done graduation. If you've done graduation relating to any commerce field for eg. BFM, BAF, BBA, B.Com. I would suggest go for MBA in finance. If your subject specialisation is in IT Field, opt for MBA in IT.
