They say if you have an acumen to learn business, MBA can be done by anyone with any background. Moving to finance is absolutely possible but you need to put in a serious rigour in making yourself conceptually strong and market as well as job ready.
You can also consider School Of inspired Leadership for a one-year course. It has a really good curriculum and as it a consortium of major Indian companies the average package has been constantly going up.

Dear Khaja Zahed Ali, I highly recommend Ph.D. programme if you are looking for the teaching profession as by 2023 Ph.D. will be mandatory for the teaching profile. Dear Anush, To the best of my knowledge, the post-graduation should be in the same subject for the Ph.D. programme. Therefore, you can pursue Ph.D. in Management after an MBA programme but not in commerce. Only M.Com students can pursue Ph.D. in Commerce. When we talk about the placements it snot only about the package got. It includes all the factors which makes you capable of getting the desired job and the decent package. Curriculum is the main imp thing which we need to focus. And I think Among these, IDIRA, MIT, ISBM etc. Colleges RIIM is the best in terms of Curriculum, certifications which helps you get your desired job. In order to prepare for the exam you need to focus mainly on areas of accounting. Here are some of the questions that are frequently asked- Methods of depreciation, treatment for writing off bad debts in financial statements, questions on accounting principles etc.
