The Eligibility criteria for MBBS at Medical college of Kolkata is pretty much similar to other goverment medical colleges. The MBBS course seats are allotted on the basis of NEET-UG score and rank. Therefore, the candidates will have to apply for the NEET-UG examination conducted by the NTA for the admissions for MBBS. After the NEET-UG results, the cutoff is released by the MCC or the Medical counselling committee based on various factors. The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 19169. In 2022, it decreased to 14859. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 19186 to 22100 for OBC, 99214 to 91272 for SC, 107455 to 130612 for ST, 19594 to 16248 for EWS, 838115 to 586341 for PWD. Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata cutoff 2022 for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery other than General category are mentioned below:

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 5519 and closing rank was 14859. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Calcutta National Medical College Kolkata is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET.
