Merit-based scholarships at Thapar University are given to students with strong academic performance. For first-year UG students, eligibility is based on Class 12 marks and JEE Main rank. There is no income limit for merit-based scholarships.

Ashoka University offers Achiever's Merit Scholarship of Up to 100% tuition fee waiver. This scholarship is offered to 150 students based on their overall performance in Ashoka University admission process with recognition for high performance in CBSE and ICSE/ ISC board examination.

To get the BTech Merit Scholarship-I at Thapar University, applicants must complete their Class 12 and must have scored more than 95%. Additionally, the applicant must be among the top 50 students based on their All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main 2024, regardless of her/ his engineering branch. 

For continuation of the scholarship in the second year, applicants must have a minimum of 8.50 CGPA in all previous semesters. In BTech Merit Scholarship-I, students get a total fee waiver. 

IFMR GSB offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships to provide financial aid to students. Under this, students get a scholarship amount of INR 2 Lacs per student. Those who meet the below criteria get the scholarship:

• Minimum CGPA of 3.33 at the end of term 3
• Family annual combined income for the financial year should be less than INR 10 lakh

The RMT Merit Based Scholarship is awarded to deserving and meritorious students by Ahmedabad Institute of Business Management, based on the availability of funds. The scholarship amount awarded under this scheme is upto INR 1 lakh. Apart from the merit-based scholarship, the institute also offers AICTE Pragati Girl Child Scholarship, J&K Student Scholarship by central government and Private scholarship from Reliance foundation based on there criteria.

MAHE provides Dr. Ramdas Pai Merit Scholarship to students pursuing a course from Manipal Centre for Philosophy and Humanities, Bangalore. Under the scholarship, top 10% (CGPA) students get a 30% tuition fee waiver for the second and third year, respectively.
