The authorities have not yet announced the MET 2025 class commencement date for the qualified candidates. The classes can expect to start a few weeks after the counselling and allotment process commences. The candidates will be able to check the official MET 2025 class commencement date online. The authorities will make the announcement and inform the selected candidates regarding the start of classes. All selected candidates will have to report to their allotted college on the specified dates for the commencement of classes.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will conduct MET to select candidates for admissions into its various campuses. The candidates will be eligible for BTech admissions into the four MET campuses - Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Manipal University, Jaipur, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology and Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. Candidates will be able to select their preferred choice of campuses and courses for allotment during the MET counselling process.

In case the candidates have paid the first instalment of MET admission fee but forgot to pay the second instalment before the final date, they are advised to immediately contact the authorities. Through the authorities, the candidates should understand the further steps to be taken. Candidates are advised to check the MET counselling dates to know when the schedule of fee payment so that they do not miss the deadline.

The allotted candidates will have to pay the required MET admission fee in instalments. Candidates will have to pay INR 2,40,000 as the first instalment and the second instalment as per their course before the final date. The mode of payment for the admission fee is online i.e., the candidates will have to pay through credit card/debit card/net banking. If the candidates are not able to pay the required fee before the final date, then their allotment will be cancelled.

After the MET seat allotment, the selected candidates will have to confirm their admission. All of the allotted candidates will have to report to their respective institute and verify their documents for admission confirmation. Along with the document verification, the candidates will have to pay the first year tuition fee in two instalments. The first instalment is INR 2,40,000 and the second instalment will be as per the course selected. The required fee has to be paid online before the final date. If the candidates are not able to pay the admission fee before the final date, then their allotment will be cancelled.

Yes. Candidates who belong to the reserved or special categories will be required to produce their category certificates during the document verification process of MET counselling. If the candidates are unable to confirm their category by producing the certificates, then they will not be allowed to take admission into the respective category. The authorities will release the list of documents that will be required for verification.

Candidates are advised to check the official dates for the document verification during the MET counselling process. After the final date, the authorities will not accept requests for document verification. Therefore, the allotment will automatically be cancelled by the authorities. In case, the candidates are not able to verify their documents, then they are advised to contact the authorities for further steps.

Candidates will be required to present various documents during the MET counselling to confirm their admission. The original documents along with photocopies have to be submitted at the allotted campuses before the final date for verification. Some of the important documents to be submitted are - MET hall ticket, MET rank card, a print out of the filled in MET counselling form, 10th and 12th standard mark sheets, two recent passport size photographs, identity card of the parents/guardians, etc.

MET seat allotment result will be announced online at counseling.manipal.edu. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment of MET. Candidates will be able to check the MET seat allotment result by logging in using their application number and OTBS password. Through the seat allotment result, the candidates will be able to check the course and campus that they have been allotted to. The selected candidates will also be informed about the admission confirmation and fee payment process.

To participate in the MET admission process, the candidates should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying entrance examination. All candidates are required to have secured a minimum aggregate marks of 50% in Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects. Individually in each of these subjects, the candidates also have to secure the minimum pass marks as prescribed by the respective board. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered during the MET counselling and seat allotment process.
