In most areas of study, students have the option of enrolling in a master's or doctoral programme to continue their education. Students interested in the creative arts might consider pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA). An MFA is a two- or three-year programme in filmmaking, creative writing, visual arts, photography, graphic design, dance, theater, and other performing arts. It's an applied arts programme for students who want to become professional working artists. The vast majority of MFA courses are performance-oriented, rather than equal parts liberal and performing arts. The Master of Fine Arts is not to be confused with the Master of Arts. An MFA is an academic programme concentrated on one particular area of study. MA programs are a bit more liberal arts-based by nature, and they include a scholarly study of the subject. In the United States, an MFA is recognised as a terminal degree, meaning it's the highest degree available in a field of study. It's also the minimum qualification in order to become a full-time professor at a college or university in MFA-related disciplines. PG Level: To pursue an Art programme at degree or PG Diploma level candidates should complete their graduation in Arts with the minimum percentage stipulated by a particular university/ college in which they are seeking admission. Syllabus of an Arts programme depend on the type of course (Fine/ Visual/ Performing) as well as the specialisation (drawing, sculpture, painting, film-making, painting, music, drama, singing, dance, etc.) that a candidate is pursuing. Candidates seeking admission to BFA MFA Diploma and Hobby courses must have applied for concerned entrance exams. The institute follows the below steps for admission for BFA courses:

The application form has to be filled within the allotted dates only. A student's ID and password will be generated which should be secured for future use. Issuance of Hall Ticket on the website through candidate's login. The date of exam will be announced on the site. Students will attend the test for 360 minutes. The Provisional Merit list will be declared for Maharashtra state/ OMS candidates on website. Submission of grievances (if any) and Verification of CET marks at ARC. Display of Final Merit List of on website. Scholarships
Merit based scholarships and freeships are awarded to talented students. Scholarships are awarded to 6% students and freeships to 10% of students in each class. The rate of scholarship is INR 25 per month for first year BFA students and INR 35 for all other classes.
