The MIT Pune offers a merit scholarship that waives 50% of fees for 10% of students for the entire duration of the programme. Scholarship are awarded on first come, first served basis and are adjusted as fee adjustments.  Student must maintain a minimum academic score of 8 CGPA across all semesters, attendance of atleast 80% and a clean disciplinary record.

MIT School of Fine Art & Applied Art is not under the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). CUET is an entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various central universities in India.
