As per the latest information, The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) in Aizawl is ranked 16th among the top colleges in Aizawl for 2024. Based on India Today rankings, IIMC is the top media institute in the country. 
IIMC Aizawl offers two post-graduate courses, including a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism English. 
It is advised to contact with the college before taking further desicions.

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) in Aizawl, Mizoram selects candidates based on their performance in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the CUET.

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) in Aizawl offers PG Diploma programs in the following areas:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (English) 
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media

IIMC's original mandate was to be a "Centre for Advanced Study in Mass Communication". It is responsible for consultation, training, and research and development, particularly in the use of mass communication in support of national economic and social development. 

IIMC does not offer undergraduate courses. Admission to IIMC is only possible after completing graduation.
