No, it is not mandatory to pass the model exam to get the Goa SSC hall ticket. Model exams are meant for students to be familiar with the board exam. Clearing the model exams is not a criteria for obtaining the Goa SSC hall ticket.

You can appear for Class 10 board exam without appearing for the model exam. But it is better to appear for the model exam so understand the pattern of the board exam.
