10+2 with PCM, obtaining a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% reserved).
Admission is based on JEE Main rank centralized through Anna University/TNEA.
Lateral entry for 2nd year needs Diploma or B.Sc. with Maths, once again 45% (40% reserved), choice through LEET rank.

Here's the hostel fee in INR per year at MRK Institute of Technology (Cuddalore):
Single sharing room: 60,000 + mess 30,000 = 90,000.
