The minimal scores needed to gain admission to Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai, via the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) vary depending on the cutoffs set by the college and the candidate's category (general, SC, ST, OBC). Since Sir J.J. College is one of the best architectural schools in India and there is fierce competition, open-category students often have a better chance of getting admitted if they score more than 120–140 out of 200 on the NATA. Cutoffs are frequently a little lower for reserved categories. A strong academic record in your Class 12 examinations is also necessary, with at least 50% of your points coming from maths, physics, and chemistry combined. 

After completing the application submission process, candidates will have to make the payment of the prescribed NATA application fee for enrollment in BArch course at JNTUK. The application fee can be paid using Netbanking / Credit Cards / ICICI Isure Bank Challan.

Note: Candidates need to download the prefilled registration form and procure the necessary registration documents. They would also be required to select a test centre from the official website at a location convenient to the candidate. Approach the test centre for an appointment for NATA. After this, procure the receipt cum appointment voucher from the test centre and take the exam on the scheduled date.

A qualifying score on the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is required for admission to Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU) for a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program. Candidates must normally receive at least the qualifying score required by the Council of Architecture (CoA), often 70 out of 200 possible points in NATA. A seat at JNAFAU is not guaranteed even if you meet the minimal qualifying score because admittance is difficult. As the final admission is determined by merit, which combines the NATA score with the marks earned in the qualifying test (10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics), a better score increases your chances. A NATA score of 120 or higher is regarded as competitive for JNAFAU for general category candidates. However, this can change each year based on variables including application volume, seat availability, and cutoff trends.
