The KL School of Architecture is a constituent institute of KL University. The institution offers the Bachelor of Architecture program. To seek admission into this course, a candidate needs to have passed the 10+2 education from a recognised institution with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). Also, he/she must be a qualified NATA or JEE Main Paper II holder.

With a NATA score of 127 and 61% in board exams, you could probably seek admission to many government colleges for B.Arch. Based on the previous year's cutoff trends, following are possible options:

  1. CEPT University, Ahmedabad: They are famous for architecture courses, though the cutoffs will be pretty competitive.
  2. Government College of Architecture, Chandigarh: It is considered one of the best architectural courses; check the exact cutoff for your score.
  3. Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda: Accepts NATA scores and might have cutoffs in your range.
  4. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad: Reportedly h

Yes, you can appear for the NATA test in 12th as well, if attempted in 11th standard, because the Council of Architecture has also stated that the candidates are allowed to appear for the NATA test three times in a single academic year.
If you appear in both years then your best attempt score will be considered for the admission purpose. There is no age limit to appear for the NATA exam. You can attempt it as many times you like within the maximum number of attempts allowed. So don't forget to register in advance for every attempt you make.

To join the 2nd year of the B. Arch program at CEPT University in 2024 will require admission through the transfer policy. Transfer to CEPT University Typically, a student should complete the first year of a B. Arch course from a recognized institution. You will have to contact the admissions office at CEPT to know about the eligibility criteria, which may include furnishing your previous academic records and NATA score (AIR 957). You may also need to appear for a personal interview or portfolio review. Keep an eye on CEPT's official website to know about the application schedule and specific requirements.

Candidates securing 150 marks in JEE Main 2024 can secure admission into the top engineering colleges such as NIT Tiruchirappalli, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut, and likewise, though admission to computer-related branches is dubious, especially a top branch like Computer Science and Engineering.

In general, candidates should have a minimum percentile ranging between 85 to 90 percentile for getting admission into the NIT colleges. However, this range may fluctuate based on the categories of the students.

With such a nice percentage in your 12th exams and a respectable score in NATA, you have a very good chance for getting B.Arch admission at GEC, Thrissur. For you to be eligible, the criteria require a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in your 12th exams, which you easily meet.

Though the specific cutoffs can change each year, the closing rank for the B.Arch course was 175 for the General category, in 2024.

I advice you reaching out directly to the college's admission office or checking their official website for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Best of luck with your application.
