Shashi, NATA or the AIEEE B.Arch exam are prescribed by the Council of Architecture as a compulsory criterion for taking admission to any Architectural College or course in India.
Check the following link to know the colleges that you can get
https://www.shiksha.com/jee-mains-college-predictor
There are many private universities that offer admission in B.Arch with JEE counseling too directly on basis of your rank. Most private universities offer good placements and scholarships too.
Check the websites of some good private universities too.
Good luck.

I would say Sir JJ College is the best in Mumbai, but I don't think you may get a government quota seat in there.

You can give both JEE(main) and NATA as I've done this year only.As there are many institutes like nit's who gives you admission in B.arch on the basis of your JEE(main) rank in paper-2.but most of the colleges and universities see your NATA score so I think you should go for both of them.Sorry ,I don't know about CAT much.

All Architecture colleges in India take NATA scores into consideration. NATA scores are used by admissions authorities of different Government, Govt. Aided & unaided schools / colleges of Architecture, to provide common measure for comparing the qualifications of applicants, for admission in addition to their scholastic performance in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
