Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech course must have passed 10+2 examination in relevant field.
Selection to B.Tech is done on the basis of JEE Main score followed by Online Counseling conducted by NIFTEM.
Closing cutt off rank is around 65728.

National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management or NIFTEM was established by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries of Government of India at Sonipat in Haryana. Programmes in this university include MBA, B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. The departments are mostly food-centric as this university was formulated by the Indian Government to be a 'one stop solution provider' for various troubles in food sector. The placements are decent, and most importantly the companies are from the core, and it's an entrepreneurship college shouldn't care about it. Yes, NIFTEM has a football team that competes at the national level. The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management Student Council has a sports society called "Samarthya. " This society organizes an annual sports league. This team takes part in national-level sports tournaments organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The NIFTEM also has other sports teams, which are:
1. Cricket
2. Volleyball
3. Badminton
4. Table tennis
