NFSU Gandhinagar provides undergradute programmes in Science, Engineering, Arts, Law, Computer Application, etc. The uiversity accepts national entrance exam such as JEE Main for BTech and CLAT for LLB. The university also conducts its entrance exams such as the National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT) for admission to specific courses. Students must qualify Class 12 from the recognised board with minimum 50% marks. 

National Forensic Sciences University provides UG, PG, Diploma and certificate programmes in various fields like Enginnering, Science, Management, Law, etc. At the UG level, the university provides BTech, BSc,  BBA, BA, and BBA LLB programmes to the students. At the PG level, the university offers MBA,  MTech, MSc,  MA, and other courses are offered to the students. 

According to the latest student reviews, BA LLB placements at Himachal Pradesh National Law University in 2023 had a the highest and the lowest package of INR 18 LPA and INR 5 LPA, respectively with 10 companies who visited the campus. The university conducts aptitude test for admission to BDes, BVA, etc. Selected candidates are called for a personal interview round for final admission.
