Admissions to the courses offered by Nehru College of Nursing, Panayur can either follow an entrance-based admission process or a merit-based admission process. The BSc programme follows a merit-based admission process. Meanwhile, the MSc course follows an entrance-based admission process.

Direct admission to the courses offered by the Nehru College of Nursing is available for the BSc course. Candidates must complete the admissions process and take entrance examinations like the KEAM in order to be accepted into the programs. 
Direct admission to any of the courses offered by the Nehru College of Nursing is based on the criteria that candidates meet the minimum eligibility. Candidates must review the course's selection criteria in order to be considered for a shortlist. 

KEAM scores are accepted by the Nehru College of Nursing for admission to the MSc programme. Candidates in the General All India category had a KEAM cutoff percentile of less than 90 after the Nehru College of Nursing cutoffs from the previous year. A candidate with a 90 percentile can thus be admitted to Nehru College of Nursing based on the cutoff pattern from prior years. 

Based on their KEAM scores, applicants are accepted into Nehru College of Nursing programmes. Candidates may take the entrance test in order to participate in the M.Sc admissions process.

The seat intake for MPharm at Nehru College of Pharmacy is 45. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the GPAT. Candidates who clear the admission rounds receive the final admission offer. Candidates are required to pay the course fee to secure their seat. Candidates who have the aforementioned documents can upload them in scanned format to finish the application. 

KEAM and GPAT scores are used to shortlist candidates. Candidates who clear the minimum cutoff that has been set by the institute are invited for the next rounds of admissions.
