The Design Aptitude Test (that) Prelims primarily evaluates each candidate on the following abilities:
Knowledge
Comprehension
Analysis
Creativity
Visualisation

I would say there's plenty of time left for you to prepare for NID entrance. All you need to understand is that NID entrance does not entirely focus on design. It analyses your skills as a whole. You need to be prepared with some technical and general questions as well. The most important thing you must understand is that at NID, you're practically judged on the basis of your confidence and communication. The design comes afterwards. Here are a few books you should refer to for NID: Emotional Design, Don't Make Me Think, Revisited: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability (3rd Edition), Universal Principles of Design, Revised and Up
