In case candidates fail to obtain the cut off marks or rank, they may appear for NIMCET next year as well. It is to be noted that:
NIMCET will be conducted in three parts with 120 multiple choice questions.
Part I (70 minutes duration) consists of Mathematics (50 questions).
Part II (30 minutes duration) consists of Analytical ability and logical reasoning (40 questions).
Part III ( 20 minutes duration) consists of Computer Awareness (20 questions) and English (10 questions)
Each correctly answered question will be awarded full marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to 25 negative mark.

The candidates should tally their scores and ranks and then check the counselling opportunities at the participating institutes. The exam authority will release the NIMCET result online at the official website. Candidates declared qualified will be eligible to participate in the NIMCET counselling process. Candidates will have to carry their documents and scorecard when they appear in NIMCET counselling.
