Depends on your rank. If your rank comes around 1000-1500 in general PWD, you may stand a chance. Chances are less for old NITs but you may get a seat in the new ones.

I don't know about the reservations, but for admission in a good NIT, you don't have to wait for the JEE Advanced score, you can get admission to the college by getting at least 250 marks in the JEE Mains exam.

Rank near to 1500 in general-PWD category can get you a seat in NITs for OBC and SC/ST PWD category marks required are even slightly lesser.

Hi Naveen,
ST seats are adjusted for OBC but not in spot round. Spot round took place by giving priority to only all India rank.

Counseling for IITs, NITs and GFTIs are conducted simultaneously by the counselling body named JOSAA candidate who are eligible for counselling can fill the application form in between 15-19th of June and till now 1st round of counselling is over.

For reporting in NITs, there is no need to renew Domicile and income certificate.
They will not see your domicile and income certificate for verification. They only need caste certificate from the above three mentioned.

NIT counselling is an online process.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be the responsible authority for the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Main 2017. JEE Main 2017 counselling and seat allotment will be held in seven rounds.
