Through TS DOST (Degree Online Services Telangana) the admission to B.Sc. courses at Nizam College happens primarily by merit evaluation. The charges depend on students' category together with their admission classification. Public entrance into government quota seats costs between Rs 8,000 and Rs 12,000 per year and self-financed seats have a fee range of Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 annually. Vacant seats may lead to direct admission at Nizam College although the associated fees could be more expensive. Each additional payment such as examination fees and hostel costs requires separate payment during the academic period.

You scored 952 marks in intermediate and belong to the BC-D category. Getting a seat at Nizam College in Phase 3 counselling depends on seat availability, your TS ICET rank, and cutoff trends.

Things to Consider:

Admission is based on TS ICET rank, not just intermediate marks.

BC-D category reservation may improve your chances.

Phase 3 counselling has fewer seats left, so competition is high.

What You Should Do:

1. Check your TS ICET rank – This is important for admission.

2. Look at past cutoffs – See if your rank matches previous years' cutoffs for BC-D category.

3. Attend Phase 3 counselling – Stay updated and have backup options.

Both Nizam College and Telangana Mahila Vishwavidyalayam are good for a BA depending on your requirements and interests. Nizam College being an older institution, has a diverse range of BA courses with decent faculty and infrastructure It has a diverse crowd exposure to various co-curricular activities and better overall academic facilities. Alternatively, Telangana Mahila Vishwavidyalayam focuses on female education and a supporting environment for female students. The college would be a more appropriate choice if you like having an inclusive woman-focused atmosphere. Nizam College would be a more appropriate choice, however, if you a

The latest cutoff information for B.A. (Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy) at Nizam College isn't readily available. However, I recommend checking the official website of Nizam College or contacting their admissions office directly for the most up-to-date information on cutoffs ¹. Students contact the administration office for exact answers.
