Admission procedure of MBA in North Bengal University-
- andidates are required to complete a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline (except performing and fine arts) from a recognised Indian University or Foreign University (As per University Norms) with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate (5% relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates).
- Final year students awaiting results may also apply, nevertheless, their admission will be treated as purely provisional. Before the commencement of the first semester examination they have to obtain the requisite qualification as stated in point

North Bengal University is very good in providing the adequate placements to its students. The average package of this University is 4LPA. According to the report of NIRF the top recruiters for B.Tech CS in 2023 are Infosys and TCS while the top recruiters for the MBA course are Axis Bank, Bandhan bank and among others. The highest package for 2023 was 8 LPA which was offered by a multinational company

North Bengal University releases the cutoff for admission for ongoing session however the cutoff marks are based on the university entrance test. The tentative schedule of the cutoff is oct-nov. Till october all cutoffs are released.
At postgraduate level, NBU offers full-time MA, M.Sc, LL.M and M.LI.Sc courses along with PG Diploma courses in various specializations. Some specializations in M.Sc and PG Diploma programs are offered in Self-Financed mode. Graduation in the relevant discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. Yes. The eligibility criteria for North Bengal University is-
- Candidates who have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply for BA LLB at NBU.
- There are no entrance examinations for admission to BA LLB conducted by NBU, it is merit-based. The enrolment is decided based on the merit list published by the university which takes the marks in the qualifying exam into consideration.
For MBA
- UG with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognised university.
- Graduates in Fine arts or performing arts will not be considered.
- Marks or percentile secured by candidate in CMAT/ MAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ JMET/ XAT

For UG admission-
The North Bengal University takes admission based on the common entrance exam. The students who wanted to take admission to the university must have clear the exam. After that, students are eligible for the given courses.
- B.Sc (Hons): Intermediate with PCM along with 60% marks is edibility. Merit-based admissions are offered.
- BA (Hons): HSC certification with 60% is required to apply for admission. Admission is merit-based.
- LLB: 10+2 education completed with good grades is eligibility. Selections are done on CLAT exa

The admission in NBU are done the basis of Merit and entrance exams by the University for the ongoing session. This university offers many other popular courses such as a Diploma in French Language, B.A. L.L.B, PG Diploma, L.L.M, M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, M.B.A, M.C.A, M.Phil, and Ph.D.
- For BA, Bsc, BBA UG courses you have to qualify the NBU entrance exam which helds every year after that the meritorious candidates will be eligible for admission
- The selection for NBU MBA Admission will be done based on the entrance exam score (CAT/CMAT/ XAT/MAT/ATMA).

A very good college for those who want to study in Siliguri and get a good package. Placements: In 2022, the highest package was 32LPA which was offered to a CSE student of 2023 pass-out.The college was affiliated to University of Calcutta till 1962. Currently it is affiliated to University of North Bengal.The university also serves as the affiliating body for 50 colleges across Alipurduar, Coochbehar, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, and Uttar Dinajpur districts.
