In order to be eligible for admission, an applicant must receive an average of 45% in PCB + English on their 12th board test from a recognized institution. Therefore, the specific percentage of each subject need not be taken into account.

Two degrees and two courses are available from the SSKM Hospital's GNM School of Nursing. The three-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program. Each college has a different cost schedule. The Government College of Nursing, SSKM, Kolkata charges a yearly tuition of about INR 12,500. This covers enrollment costs, library fees, lab fees, and development expenses. Most institutions provide students the option of paying their tuition directly or over the course of a semester.
