-One can go for teaching fields at higher degree level aiming to become teacher/ lecturer at college and university level both in private and government institutions
-One can also go for various nursing, midwifery and its related other medical jobs.
-One can go for higher degree programs in respective subjects for further studies.
-They can run their own clinics and also can have jobs in private hospitals.

Microbiology is (somewhat) a type of specialisation. If you do choose B.Sc Microbiology you are confined to a type of field only for your Master's degree, but don't take my word for it. As I said earlier, different universities have a different syllabus and teaching styles too.
