Hi,
If you are planning any nursing programme to practice in hospitals in Canada you need to register yourself first with the nursing organisation of that specific province and might have to appear for exam. Other way is choose the province like Ontario, Toronto, Vancouver, etc. and shortlist the course and college and write to them to know the complete procedure. They have international admission officers to guide you correctly.

Hi,
You cannot study medical without a relevant background, since you had commerce I doubt if you are eligible. You can check for associate degree programs which are of two years before proceeding to a Bachelor's degree. I would advise you to check directly with the colleges.

There are some universities such as IGNOU offer Ph.D in nursing.
The eligibility criteria for Ph.D Nursing is as follows:
1. Nursing professionals, who have completed their M.Phil degree with 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D.
2. Nursing, with 55% marks and five years of teaching, industry, administration, professional and clinical experience are eligible for Ph.D.
3. Nursing personnel, who have completed their M.Sc nursing with 55% marks (50% marks for SC and ST candidates).
