No, NEET is not mandatory for admission to BSc Nursing programmes. NTA released a notification earlier this year stating that NEET scores will now be used for admissions in BSc Nursing and Life Sciences courses. Various nursing colleges in India offer B.Sc Nursing programmes without NEET. Admission to these colleges is given through either state level entrance exams or particular entrance exams of the institute.

On its official website, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, announced the cutoff for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme. Interested individuals can check the deadline online in order to apply for admission to their selected campus and course. To proceed in the counselling process, you must achieve the AIIMS nursing cutoff score.

Nursing programmes offered by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, including BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc Nursing (Post-Basic). On March 12, 2024, the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 final registration and code generating process got underway. On March 5, 2024 (basic registration), the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 application procedure for the academic session 2024–25 opened. The basic registration period ended on April 26, 2024, at 5 PM. Concurrently, April 30, 2024 (up to 5 PM) was the deadline for final registration and code production for the AIIMS BSc Nursing exam. AIIMS will conduct AIIMS BSc Nursing (Hons.)

To pursue GNM Nursing, you must meet eligibility criteria decided by college authorities and government.
Main eligibility is candidate must have studied PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) combination with compulsory English language in 10+2. minimum marks may vary from college to college.
Some colleges or universities may require to clear an entrance exam.
However, after clearing 12th with specific marks required, you are eligible to apply for GNM Nursing.

According to Tamil Nadu policies tuition Fee for Self-Financing Colleges (per Annum) is INR. 40,000 and for Government Colleges (per Annum) INR 3,000/-.
As, the Government College of Nursing, Madurai is a government entity the fee will be INR 3000 per annum. However, to get the accurate information you can contact college's admission office.

Hello!
There is less possibility to get direct admission to a B.Sc Nursing course. The admissions to this course are generally merit-based or entrance exam-based. To check if they have the option for direct admission you can contact the admission office of the college.
Placements also vary from college to college. However, the medical field is growing only. The average salary after B.Sc Nursing is in range INR 2.5 LPA -8 LPA.

The course duration for B.Sc Nursing at Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Nursing and Paramedical College is 4 years. 3 year course+ 1 year mandatory internship.
To be eligible for the course:
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 class with Science (PCB) and English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of a minimum of 45% from the recognized board.
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years
