There are many job opportunities for GNM Diploma holders. KEI Kolkata may also provide placement support to the students. However, the selection in the job profile depends upon the candidates' skill set. Some of the top nursing profiles in India are:

  • Certified registered nurse anaesthetist
  • Dean of Nursing
  • General nurse practitioner
  • Certified nurse midwife
  • Paediatric Nurse
  • Staff Nurse
  • ICU Nurse
  • Home Nurse
  • Chief Nursing Office

Hello Pavithra!

I tried to connect with the college for the cut-off information for B.Sc in Nursing. They are saying they can only tell to the student who has applied for KCET. The selected students will be called for seat allotment and fee discussion. The average fee for the course is around INR 1,60,000. For referral, the average cut-off score for KCET is 150+ score out of 180, or below 1000 rank.

I hope you will find this helpful.

Thank You.

The B.Sc Nursing admission criteria depends upon the colleges. Top government nursing colleges require NEET score. While AIIMS and PGIMER conducts their own entrance exams.

Yes admission in BSc Nursing can be done with 90% in 12th grade.

Basic eligibility for BSc Nursing can be different and it all depends on different scholarships but having scored above 50% in 12th grade is commonly needed for many scholarships.

Hope this helped your query! All the best!

B.Sc Nursing at Pantnagar University is not available yet but the college is trying to add the course to the college. They have various programs offered, such as B.Sc & M.Sc Ag, Ph.D. programs, and B.Tech admissions, among others. The admission to the colleges of the university is made based on the Competitive Entrance Examination, but there is no mention of B.Sc. For now B.Sc in nursing is not available yet but it will be available from next year.
